Morning Star has had privilege of partnering with ministries in Palmer, Alaska and Anchorage, Alaska since 2022. Alaska is stunningly beautiful, but has some of the highest rates of poverty, substance abuse, domestic violence, and depression in the country. Through supporting Palmer Church of God, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens during annual mission trips, we get to be the hands and feet of Christ.

We love getting to be part of what God is doing in Guatemala! We partner with missionaries Randy and Brenda Purcell through Missionary Ventures International (MVI) and help support their day to day work as they minister to pastors and their churches throughout Guatemala. We also have the honor of providing the food budget for a school and feeding center in the remote village of Lela Obraje. Without this school, kids in this village have very few opportunities to escape poverty. But because of this school, over 200 kids are getting nutritious meals, a quality education, and a future!

Through a ministry called Africa New Life, Morning Star gets to support women and children in Kigali, Rwanda. Currently, our congregation sponsors over 100 kids through Africa New Life.
