MSC Cares

Morning Star Church Cares for you!  We exist to love our church and community well.
Galatians 6:2 gives us a foundation from which to love from.
"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."

We want to care for you, and we want to equip you to care for others.
Below you will find specific information about some of the care ministries here at MSC.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer!
If you have prayer needs, we would be honored to pray with and for you.

Marriage Mentors

We believe that all marriages are functioning at their best when they are rooted in Christ.

Morning Star Church offers two areas of marital care:

Premarital Mentoring:
Typically  a four week process of meeting with marriage mentors who share their experiences and help couples work through the issues that often snare newly married couples.  All couples are given a marriage survey that helps us to pinpoint both strengths and weaknesses within their relationship.

Marriages in Crisis:
We also provide couples experiencing a season of struggle with a mentor couple who have been through many trials themselves and are willing to share from their struggles and victories. We have vetted several professional (Christian) marriage counselors in our area should you need a reference.

Our main goal is to see marriages become a life-giving and God-centered part of our community

and to equip you for the challenges that will arise both now and in the future.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate recovery is a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery and healing to our hurts. It guides us toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits as we repair our broken relationships. Join more than 7 million hurting people across the globe who now walk in freedom through the power of Jesus Christ as we walk through the 8 principles of celebrate recovery based on the Beatitudes in Matthew 5.

Cancer Companions

Cancer can be a scary journey for all involved.
Our prayer is for every person impacted by cancer to know the hope, love, and grace of Jesus.
We are here to walk alongside you and your loved ones.
You don’t have to face this alone.

Stephen Ministers

Are you or a loved one hurting or going through a tough time?
We have lay people who provide care to those who are hurting.
They will make hospital visits and be a friendly voice on the line or across the table when needed.
They will not try to fix you but will offer the ministry of presence and prayer.

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are specialized and are designed to be more like a support/social group.
