Every Thursday | 6 – 9 p.m. | Morning Star Church
The Landing is a 52-week process for any teen who is struggling and is based on the 8 principles found in Matthew. By working through the Christ centered
principles among a community of peers and caring adults, students gain access to tools which enable them to give their hurt, hang-up or habit to Jesus and find true healing and victory.
The Landing is designed to run concurrently with Celebrate Recovery and Celebration Place (CR for Kids); the Landing completes the group of resources for the entire family.
Truths that help them avoid cycles of hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Ways to draw close to Jesus during challenging times. Language and experiences to understand
what’s happening in their homes. Friendships with other teenagers whose parents are taking the hard step of resolving their pain and moving forward in life.
The Landing will lead teenagers in making Jesus the foundation of their lives; break cycles of dysfunction; and join their parents in forgiveness and healing.
The Landing will gather every Thursday night during Celebrate Recovery. Their schedule will be:
6 to 7 p.m // BBQ/Connect Time
7 to 7:30 p.m. // Service and Teaching
7:30 to 9 p.m. // The Landing
9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. // Dessert
