Goals
At the start of the initiative in 2008, our hope was that through Love.Loud. we could create additional space for new individuals and families to discover God and His purpose for their life. We knew it wouldn't be easy, and it wouldn’t be cheap. (That’s just not the way love works.)
We set out several options, recognizing that which one we chose depended completely on how much our church family invested in the Love.Loud. capital initiative:
Loud. Our first financial priority was to meet our current mortgage obligation. We would not build additional space unless we received sufficient pledges to do so without incurring additional debt.
Louder. With enough financial support, we would build additional space for youth and children. In turn, we planned to re-purpose our modular units for prayer and outreach ministries and additional office space. To achieve these goals, needed to receive pledges totalling at least $3.3 million.
Loudest. Surpassing our “Louder” goal would've afforded us some flexibility. We could've built even more children’s space or added a multi-purpose auditorium to the new youth area. We would've looked at glassing in our lobby so there’s more room to hang out with our church family. Our options were only limited by our funds.
Loudester. Yes, we’re aware that loudester isn’t a real word, but we included it because we refused to put a cap on what God can do through His people.
