The Outreach Ministry offers opportunities to serve as the “hands of Christ” by meeting basic needs in our community and church family.
MSC Food Pantry
MSC maintains a small pantry at the church office and welcomes donations of staples such as: baby food, canned meat, dry pasta and jars of sauce, snacks, laundry soap, personal care items, and paper products.
Holiday Outreach
The holiday outreach team also coordinates assistance programs at Easter and Christmas.
Mission Trips
MSC regularly engages in short-term service locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Since Morning Star’s beginning in 2001, our mission teams have conducted 19 trips to four states and four countries. Nearly 175 workers have given their money, time, and talents to support projects that bring hope and healing in desperate circumstances.
